Instagram Stories, for example, allows users to upload 60-second videos in an effort to mirror TikTok’s features. Be sure to stay on top of the emergence of long-form video content— it’s currently trending at this moment and we can expect to see more of it in 2022.
Messenger App Expansions is Trending
In 2022, we are beginning to see the evolution of messenger app capabilities, especially when it comes to online payments and transactions. Facebook’s Messenger app is leading the way with how users and friends can make payments to one another. There is a “split payment” feature that is currently being tested, allowing users to send a certain amount of a transaction to certain people. This can be very helpful for paying rent among roommates, splitting the dinner bill between friends, and more. Other messenger apps are not far behind! There is news that Twitter is working on making changes to update its Messenger app capabilities to cater more towards users’ needs. Stay tuned!

This probably is not the first time you have heard “Metaverse” as it has been in the news and is already rolled out today.
